The GO9 RUGGED offers Geotab’s signature algorithm to accurately recreate vehicle trips and analyze incidents. The Rugged device offers In-vehicle alerts to instantly notify the drivers of infractions they make throughout their drive. The GO9 Rugged offers all of these features without requiring a dash-mounted antenna or any wire splicing.

Top features of security include, GO device and network interfaces use authentication, encryption, and message integrity verification, GO devices are individualized, Each device uses a unique ID and non-static security key — making it difficult to fake a device’s identity, Over-the-air updates use digitally-signed firmware to verify that updates come from a trusted source, Geotab uses independent third-party experts to validate the platform from end-to-end, and FIPS 140-2 validated by NIST (certificate #3371). As said earlier, one extremely important security point is, all devices have a unique security key and ID. This ensures that there are no mistakes on the back end of the data of your device. With that being said all of these are crucial factors that allow for the safe placement of your data.
